My name is Alex and since summer 2020, I have developed a fondness for going on long walks and taking photographs of the places I explore. These included long walks from Ilfracombe to Woolacombe in Devon and from my home near Bath to the City of Wells.
During late July 2020 I decided to invest in a small mirrorless camera that would be capable of taking better photographs on my travels.
Over time, the process of taking photographs and understanding the exposure triangle began to mean more to me than simply going on very long walks and I am now continuing to develop a style of photography that incorporates anything that I find interesting to look at from an aesthetic basis or that can help tell a story of times gone past. To help me with this I invested £50 in a 35mm film SLR camera that I use primarily with black and white film, but want to experiment with different film stocks in time.
With a background in graphic design, I have also included illustrations of places that I would love to visit in the future or have already been.
